Prosecuting Officer and Deputy Commissioner praised for quality case management

Keeping in mind how to reduce the increasing crime and establish peace in the society, a coordination meeting of all the police station officers and government lawyers of the district was held today at the office of the Gajapati District Security Officer under the chairmanship of Prahlad Sahai Meena. In the said meeting, Excise Department Security Officer Deputy Superintendent Pritidhara Nayak, Additional Security Officer Biranchi Bagh, R. Udayagiri SDPO IPS. Rakesh Kumar Sahu, Gajapati District Court Cadre Public Prosecutor Rajesh Kumar Mishra and Joint Director of Prosecution Department D. Anupraj Acharya were prominently present. In today's meeting, detailed discussions were held on how to prepare the facts of the case and correct the shortcomings in the investigation process. Along with this, discussions were also held on how to ensure speedy justice to the public. Apart from this, the meeting discussed in detail the various problems faced by the police and prosecutors in various serious cases and how the punishment rate can be increased. Finally, Shri Meena felicitated the cadre of Public Prosecutor Rajesh Kumar Mishra, Associate Lawyer Soumya Saurabh Patnaik and APP K. Srinivas Rao and Gurandi Police Station Officer Ashwani Vitiriya with certificates and concluded the meeting by urging them to do even better in future and become a trust of the public.
